Confidence in £70m customs system has 'collapsed', warns Treasury Committee

Under Brexit, service faces five-fold rise in transactions

Confidence in HMRC's 70m Customs Declaration Service, a computer system that HMRC itself describes as "business critical", has collapsed, the Treasury Select Committee warned today."
