Video: Sony lets Ars loose on PlayStation’s E3 games and developers
LOS ANGELES-Ahead of PlayStation's Monday press conference, Ars Technica attended a media-exclusive mixer full of playable new PS4 and PSVR video games. Since many of them had their developers standing nearby, we grabbed cameras and microphones to dig a little further into some interesting games coming to PlayStation in the near future.
For starters: color us shocked, but we actually liked what we saw of Knack 2! Yes, the series began as a beautiful-but-underwhelming PS4 launch game, seemingly tuned for children and comparable simpletons. Thankfully, its return includes a more robust beat-'em-up control system and a compelling cooperative mode. We're nowhere near declaring this "the game of E3," but my co-op session with Ars' Senior Gaming Editor Kyle Orland turned out pretty danged fine.
