That's actually just this crew. It's kind of a tradition in ExCorps for a ship's captain to set the predominant hair style. But it's not required.

This style was actually copied from Ace. It's what he had during the Serling Incident.

You may have noticed that Commander Wildstar's hair matches Ace's current style. I just don't know when she found the time to change it. You'll probably see more of it soon.
