So, until I can confirm these nanos really exist, and more about them, we can't confront Ace about it. We can't be sure that these super sophisticated stealthy nanomachines don't have a self-destruct trigger. And that they won't take the host with them, and everything around them.

The good news is that I can say for certain that there are no signs of mystery medical nanos in your or Kimi-chan's systems. I'll call the others in to get some new scans and take a tissue sample to see what happens.

If these nanos are dangerous, or more specifically can't be proven safe, and can't be neutralized, you'll have to securely dispose of him. And this is the real reason we can't leave yet.
