NFS Client Ubuntu permissions
by teddymills1 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4T814)
When using Nautilus it is constantly asking me for my password before allowing access to NFS shares.
Most NFS client setups say to mount NFS shares as nobody.nogroup
I sometimes see the NFS shares permissions as root.root
Would it not be best to mount NFS shares with your username ? ie teddy.teddy ??
This is my home NFS server so there are no other users
NFS server is Ubuntu 19.10-Server
NFS client is Ubuntu 19.10-Desktop
