Why is locate accessing all filesystems ?

And how can I prevent it ?

I'm using a laptop with a NVME SSD for the system and an additional HDD for some data. The HDD is mounted, but rarely accessed, so it sleeps most time.

When I use locate, the HDD wakes up, although the database is on the SSD and I'm not using the parameter -e (respectively --existing).

Any ideas ?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=LnukJRrXgo4:5zPi0ENLFcw:F7zBnMy latest?i=LnukJRrXgo4:5zPi0ENLFcw:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=LnukJRrXgo4:5zPi0ENLFcw:gIN9vFwLnukJRrXgo4
