John MacKinnon died while three others were injured in series of incidents on Skye and in Dornie

A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of John MacKinnon, who was killed in a violent attack on the Isle of Skye, as his devastated family paid tribute to the father-of-six and much-loved member of the community".

MacKinnon, 47, was shot dead at his home in Sasaig in the south-east of the island at about 9.30am on Wednesday.
