A British man detained in Cyprus for almost a year after being accused of murdering his terminally ill wife, has agreed to plead guilty to manslaughter in an effort to be reunited with his family in Britain by Christmas.
David Hunter, who has been held in the country's overcrowded prison, will enter the plea on 5 December after his legal team announced the murder charge was no longer on the table".
