Former soldier allegedly absconded from London jail by attaching himself to underside of food delivery vehicle
Daniel Khalife, the terror suspect who became the subject of an intensive four-day manhunt, has appeared in court charged with escaping from Wandsworth prison.
The former British soldier is accused of fashioning a strap to attach himself to the underside of a van leaving the prison - possibly from bedsheets - and going on the run.
