My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:The meaning of the scene and the dialog was finally revealed seven years later in The Door #59 and The Bipartite Mind #8. Viviana's vision shows the last minutes of San's life, mixed together with some of her own future actions. Note the similar poses of San in the fourth panel of the next page and of Viviana in the fifth panel of The Door #62. When writing this scene, I believed that San and Viviana would literally be in the Shadowkeep. But such a long story as Gaia evolves over time and you have to adjust the details when you get better ideas for the overall plot.
