Home secretary also condemned for undermining police by claiming they were biased when handling protests

Suella Braverman has been accused of encouraging extremists" and undermining thousands of serving police officers after claiming far-right protesters were treated more harshly than pro-Palestinian supporters.

Labour, the Scottish National party and the Lib Dems called for the home secretary to be sacked after she made damning claims in a newspaper article that police were guilty of double standards" and play favourites" when it came to protesters.
