Two homes and a shed have been destroyed by a wind-driven" bushfire that broke out in a small community on Tasmania's east coast on Sunday.
The blaze at Dolphin Sands forced 24 residents and a police officer to take shelter on the nearby beach overnight until they could be safely escorted from the area on Monday morning.
