Toyota has published an advanced battery roadmap in September, 2023 which has new iron phosphate batteries and solid state batteries in 2026. Toyota's strategy includes three new liquid electrolyte battery technologies to achieve higher power, longer driving range, faster charging and lower cost and mass production of solid-state batteries.
