Disney sued after family says doctor died of allergic reaction at Florida resort

Wrongful death lawsuit alleges Kanokporn Tangsuan had been guaranteed' food at Disney Springs restaurant was allergen-free

The husband of a New York doctor who reportedly died with high levels of food to which she was severely allergic shortly after dining at a Disney Springs restaurant last year accused Walt Disney Parks and Resorts of negligence in a 19-page lawsuit filed in Florida.

Jeffrey Piccolo is seeking in excess of $50,000 in the wrongful death of Kanokporn Tangsuan, a doctor at New York University Langone hospital in Manhattan, in the lawsuit filed on 22 February in Orange county, Florida.
