Guitar formerly owned by Prince could fetch $600,000 at auction

Cloud 3 used at height of his stardom may beat estimate and become most expensive of late musician's guitars

One of Prince's guitars used by the late musician on stage at the height of his stardom in the 80s and 90s is being auctioned later this month.

The Cloud 3 guitar, which Prince wielded during tours such as Purple Rain, Parade, Sign of the Times, Lovesexy, and Diamonds and Pearls, is estimated to fetch between $400,000 (320,000) and $600,000 and could become the most expensive Prince guitar sold at auction.
