Putin pushes for closer trade and energy ties in China visit

China and Russia are both vying for an economic boost during President Vladimir Putin's two-day state visit. Putin wants Chinese leader Xi Jinping to finally endorse a long-proposed gas pipeline and to further strengthen trade and financial ties.
