NATO allies have agreed to a dramatic boost in defense spending - pledging to invest 5% of their economic output by 2035. The agreement was reached at a NATO summit at the Hague today. The move will be seen as a major victory for US President Donald Trump, who has long accused European members of not spending enough on collective defense.
