Countries bordering Russia withdraw from landmine ban treaty

Countries that share a border with Russia are turning their backs on the international treaty that bans landmines. Kyiv's decision to withdraw from the Ottawa Convention, which bans the use of the munitions, follows similar moves by Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
