Popular action in Week 3 is on the Chiefs seeking their first win, the Cowboys their second, and Colts and Packers for their third. Each of these teams covering would be great outcomes for bettors, and the book is hoping for an upset or at least an underdog to cover." - Christian Cipollini, BetMGM trading manager
Packers-Browns
Thomas Gable, sportsbook director at The Borgata: "This game could be pretty lopsided in terms of money-line parlays that'll include the Packers. This potentially could be a one-sided affair in terms of the betting as well, we'll see. We opened Green Bay -8.5, sitting -8. Total has come down half a point, 42 to 41.5. It's been mostly Packers money here. By far, Packers ML has been included in most parlays of any game."
Rams-Eagles
Joey Feazel, NFL trader at Caesars Sportsbook: "A lot of action coming in on the Rams at the moment, we've seen that as the sharp side as well. We opened up on Sunday afternoon at Eagles -4, we've seen it go to a hard -3.5. Not sure if it gets to 3. Right now, one-way traffic on Rams. Eagles offense hasn't shown out and Matthew Stafford had injury concerns before the season, but he looks fine. Rams gave the Eagles the toughest time in the playoffs last year."
Ethan Useloff, Fanatics Sportsbook trader: "Opened at Eagles -4, we're down to -3.5. We're getting two-way action on 3.5, slightly more Eagles wagers - 56% of tickets and 53% of money. Folks expect the Eagles to win this game, but I think this is going to be a very competitive game."

Chiefs-NY Giants
Feazel: "A lot of Chiefs action coming in. How many times do you get to bet against the Chiefs going 0-3? We've seen the Giants defense be competitive, but not last game. Even Russell Wilson looked much improved from Week 1 to Week 2. We're anticipating one-way action on Chiefs going into this game, and money on the over."
Useloff: "This money line is the fourth-most popular selection in parlays so far, a ton of money coming through that selection. Over 93% of bets, and 99% of handle on Chiefs ML. Bettors fully believe Chiefs will get their season back. At 0-3, you have to hit the panic button. In terms of the spread, at 6 flat, 61% of tickets and 50-50 split in terms of money. This is going to be one that customers will be pretty devastated if the Chiefs lost, given how many parlays are running through it."
Lions-Ravens
Feazel: "Ravens got a bump in their power rating, even losing late against Buffalo in Week 1. Last week doesn't tell you that much since it was Browns. In terms of action, a little bit of sharp action on Lions, but probably what we're going to need is the game to stay under. Probably going to need the Ravens to win but not cover."
Sharp actionIt's always notable where the respected bettors have landed on this week's games. While these prices may not be available at all sportsbooks, knowing where sharps have wagered can also be instructive for in-game wagering.
Yahoo Sports conversed with several bookmakers over the course of the week, and here is where some sharp action has been (and the numbers it came in at):
Dolphins +12.5 WON
Colts -3
Vikings -2.5
Rams +4.5
Saints +7.5
Falcons -3.5, -4.5
49ers PK
Browns +9, +8.5
Lions +6, +5.5
We'll be keeping track of six-figure (and larger) Week 3 NFL bets from sportsbooks below, as well as if they end up cashing.
