Some Halloween costumes transform ordinary people into fantasy characters. But a social media trend in Japan has people trying instead to capture mundane situations from everyday life. So, instead of "princess" or "two-headed monster" you could be "person standing in line at the security checkpoint of an airport" or "man who keeps getting mistaken for a store employee."
