Two people in intensive care and a driver arrested after incident on Ile d'Oleron on Wednesday, say authorities
A driver rammed into pedestrians and cyclists on France's tourist-frequented Ile d'Oleron off the Atlantic coast on Wednesday, injuring several people including four seriously, authorities said.
The 35-year-old driver was arrested by police and an investigation has been opened, the interior minister, Laurent Nunez, said in a post on X.
