The Olympic flame is lit

The Olympic flame was lit today, beginning its long relay from Greece to the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. But due to cloudy weather, the flame had to be lit from a back-up blaze set earlier in the week, as the Olympic flame can only be lit by power harnessed from the sun.
