FIFPRO, the union representing professional soccer players around the world, released a report today emphasizing the need for better investment in women's soccer, plus more mandatory rest periods in the annual schedule. The report says that "a two-speed industry is continuing to emerge in women's professional [soccer] with widely contrasting levels of workload for players across the industry."
