Most of the population in Gaza is living in tents, because most buildings in the Palestinian enclave were damaged or destroyed during two years of war with Israel. In recent days, powerful winds and heavy rains have damaged tent encampments and brought some severe flooding. Several buildings have collapsed. One baby froze to death.
