Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced a $35 billion natural gas deal with Egypt. American company Chevron is part of the deal and it is the largest in Israel's history. It comes at a time when there's a tenuous ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza. Long before the current conflict in Gaza, Israeli strikes on infrastructure, control over fuel and precarious grid access made electricity a flashpoint.
