Maaliaaraq Engell grew up in Greenland and is a member of its Indigenous Inuit community. But she never learned about Greenland's Indigenous history or reasons for Danish control of the territory in Greenlandic schools. Now, as a student at the University of Copenhagen, she explains what she missed out on.
