Ziad Rahbani, Lebanese musician

An artistic force in Lebanon, Ziad Rahbani was a composer and musician first and foremost. But he was also a playwright, whose critiques and satires earned him a reputation as the "voice of the voiceless." Rahbani was 69 when he died last July.
