On Christmas Day last year, the US launched a missile strike in northern Nigeria to counter what some have called a Christian genocide." That military action, and a newly proposed bill in the United States House of Representatives calling for possible sanctions against some leaders, including a prominent governor, have raised questions in Nigeria about what US involvement would mean.
