Zoonotic diseases: animal to human viruses are spreading

The current outbreak of Ebola is just one recent example of a disease spilling over from animals to humans. Zoonotic diseases like this are not new. There are the cases of hantavirus on the Dutch cruise ship, as well as COVID-19 and Zika.
