The Australian prime minister has called for Pakistan to carry out a transparent inquiry into the shooting death of a young Australian girl by a police officer while on holiday with her family.
Australian-born Hania Ahmed, 9, and her family were visiting a relative at Chakwal, in Pakistan's Punjab province, when they were robbed while in their rental car late on Wednesday night (local time).
