Nicolette Hoang offers an alternative to country music

Vietnamese Canadian country singer Nicolette Hoang fronts the band Nicolette and the Nobodies. She never thought she'd go into country music when she thought about being a singer. But there was something about the "natural cry" in Tammy Wynette's voice that drew her in. Host Marco Werman spoke to Hoang back in 2024.
