Tibetan Freedom Concerts 30 years later

The first Tibetan Freedom Concert was held 30 years ago in San Francisco. The two-day festival was a chance for fans to hear some great music, while concert organizers wanted to raise awareness about what was happening in Tibet and their campaign for independence from China. A new podcast called "Freedom Needs a Soundtrack" tells the story of how the Tibetan Freedom Concerts began, what they achieved and what their legacy is. It's hosted by Erin Potts, who co-founded the concerts.
