Former Nepalese aid workers turn to sex work amid fallout from US aid cuts

An estimated 35,000 Nepalese aid workers lost their jobs after USAID cuts. Among those left without work, about 100 LGBTQ+ aid workers have turned to sex work to survive. That's according to AP investigative reporter Kristen Gelineau. She traveled to the city of Hetauda to see the impact of the aid cuts on the ground and tells The World's Host Carolyn Beeler about some of the women she met.
