China begins mass producing EVs with new battery technology

China has begun mass producing electric vehicles with sodium-ion batteries. The technology does not require critical minerals, and is widely considered more sustainable and accessible than the standard lithium-ion batteries. The World's Host Marco Werman speaks with Magda Titirici, a professor at Imperial College London, about the development.
