Westminster Council proposes a reduction in 'vertical drinking'

In an attempt to cut down on outside noise and rowdiness, the Westminster City Council, which is responsible for licensing pubs and restaurants in London's West End, has put forward a proposal to cut back on what it calls "vertical drinking," essentially standing with a glass. As The World's Host Marco Werman explains, this has caused an enormous blowback, including potshots from the prime minister and from London's mayor.
