The Big Fix: Emergency services in a warming world

Five years ago, a heat dome stretched across British Columbia, Canada, killing more than 600 people. The paramedics trying to respond to emergency calls were unprepared to operate at that level of heat. But hot conditions are increasingly normal in places where they didn't used to be.
