Remembering Patricio Guzmán, the Chilean filmmaker who documented Pinochet's regime

Patricio Guzman, a giant of documentary filmmaking, has died. His masterwork, the Battle of Chile, was produced in exile and documented the violence of Pinochet's dictatorship. His later films kept their political center, but became more meditative and poetic in their execution. The World's Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Gustavo Furtado, a professor at Duke University, about Guzman's legacy and the place of memory in his work.
