The 'Sounds of Malawi' you need to hear

Music from Malawi is rarely heard or celebrated outside the country. But a new compilation hopes to change that. "Sounds of Malawi, Vol.1" features a diverse group of musicians and musical traditions from this south African nation. Musician and ethnomusicologist Waliko Makhala helped compile it. He recently spoke to host Marco Werman from the city of Blantyre.
