French teenagers barricade schools to protest education cutbacks

Students in more than 400 high schools across France are protesting funding cutbacks, overcrowded classes and teacher shortages. In some cities, the demonstrations have turned violent, with teens throwing paving stones and setting fires. Vincent Latour, a professor of British studies at Toulouse Jean University tells The World's Host Carolyn Beeler that this summer's heat waves helped expose chronic government under-funding of education.
