by editors@theworld.org (Hannah Chanatry) from The World: Latest Stories on (#79CR3)
Jamaicans are marking the one year anniversary of the strongest hurricane to ever hit the island. Hurricane Melissa made landfall on Jamaica's southwest coast as a Category 5 storm. Since then, recovery has been ongoing but inconsistent.
From Jamaica, The World's Hannah Chanatry joined Host Aaron Schachter with updates on the recovery and rebuilding one year after the worst hurricane to ever hit Jamaica.
