Athens has reached the point where a deal with its creditors may finally be done. At several points in the past two weeks, that didn't seem likely

Alexis Tsipras, the Greek prime minister, has been summoned to Brussels for emergency talks with Europe's leading politicians. Can a cash-for-reforms deal be struck? Greece's eurozone bailout expires next Tuesday, when it is also due to repay a1.6bn (1.13bn) to the International Monetary Fund.

"The ball is very much in Greece's court, There are major differences between us in most key areas. There has been no progress in narrowing these differences recently."
