European interior ministers to discuss coordinated security response after heavily-armed suspected jihadi overwhelmed on Amsterdam to Paris express
The use of scanners at railway stations will be among measures European ministers discuss at a security summit called after the foiled gun attack on a French train.
The British home secretary, Theresa May and eight of her EU counterparts are gathering in Paris to formulate a co-ordinated response to the threat of an atrocity on Europe's rail networks.
