UK shop prices fall by record amount in November

Non-food shop prices tumbled by 3.3% over the period, driven by reductions in clothing, footwear, electricals, DIY, gardening and hardware
Shop prices slumped by a record level last month, driven down by the supermarket price war and fierce competition across the rest of the high street, according to a report.
The British Retail Consortium-Nielsen Shop Index said retail prices fell 2.1% in the year to November compared with a year ago, a joint low with March this year.
