The Bipartite Mind 038
- Eldor: Thirteen what?
- Lilith: Thirteen, not twelve.
- Eldor: I have no idea what you're talking about!
- Lilith: In Oakdale, Eldor. You calculated the required number of revolutions of the Tear of Gaia. But your result, twelve, was wrong.
- Eldor: What makes you think that?! The solution was thirteen, of course!
- Lilith: Indeed. But I made you write twelve. I manipulated your mind, Eldor. And you didn't notice!
- Lilith: I was sixteen. I was studying for an exam. It was late. I was all alone in the library. I couldn't resist. I took one of the forbidden books on red magic out of the shelf and learned a few of the spells.
- Eldor: Abort! Abort!!!
- Lilith: It's too late, Eldor. Your plan has failed!
- Lilith: This is the past, Eldor. You cannot change it. I've already cast my spell. The explosion that vaporized your tower has already happened!
