Video shows Olivier Dubois saying he was seized by rebel group linked to al-Qaida
A French journalist has been kidnapped by jihadist rebels while working in Mali's northern city of Gao, the chief of Reporters Without Borders has announced.
A video released on Wednesday shows Olivier Dubois saying he was seized by the al-Qaida-linked group JNIM on 8 April. In the video he calls on his family, friends and authorities to work for his release. The video could not be independently verified.
