Find the ips of all machines connected to my local network
by Pedroski from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5M9R7)
Is there some way to find the ips of all machines connected to my local network without going to each machine and running ifconfig?
I want to try a reverse use of rsync, get files from a remote machine to my localhost.
Normally, I just use rsync to send files to my older laptop as a backup.
Imagine you had a room full of computers (I don't) and you want to collect all the files in /home/user/python/classwork/
