Entire underground suspended during Tuesday morning rush-hour after picket lines mounted outside tube stations
Commuters have been left facing chaos after thousands of tube workers went on strike over Transport for London spending cuts.
TfL encouraged people to work from home on Tuesday and Thursday as a result of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union's strike. The union said members were solidly supporting" industrial action with picket lines mounted outside tube stations.
