The Liberal Democrats celebrated a historic win in Tiverton and Honiton and told Tory MPs they faced defeat in other seats across the UK if they did not force Boris Johnson out.

The Lib Dem leader, Sir Ed Davey, visited the largely rural Devon seat on Friday to lead the festivities after his party overturned a majority of more than 24,000 in a seat the Tories have always held.
