Man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after explosion in Midlands on Sunday evening
A woman has been found dead after a gas explosion at a house in Birmingham, as police praised the heroic" actions of neighbours who pulled a man alive from the burning rubble.
He remains in hospital in a critical condition after the blast at about 8.40pm on Sunday, which completely destroyed one house and significantly damaged three others.
