Blackouts feared in Queensland after coal-fired power station is taken offline

A major Queensland coal-fired power station connected to the national grid has been taken offline by equipment failures, sparking fresh concerns about blackouts in the state.

State-owned electricity generator CS Energy said all four units at the Callide power station, near Biloela, were offline at one point on Friday morning.
